Ansiedad y Depresión en Síndrome Coronario Agudo

Resumen


Antecedentes. La falta de regulación autonómica cardiaca en los pacientes portadores de ansiedad y o depresión y cardiopatía isquémica; está relacionado con altos índices de morbilidad y mortalidad cardiaca. Objetivo. Determinar la prevalencia de depresión en sujetos con SICA. Método. Diseño: Transversal. Se realizó una encuesta a 139 sujetos con SICA. Se aplicaron inventarios: ansiedad y depresión en pacientes hospitalizados y cardiopatía isquémica/depresión (Hospitalizad Anxiety Depresion Scale [HADS]) y DMI-10, respectivamente, con alfa de Cronbach > 0.85.De acuerdo a los criterios de la American Psychiatric Association. DSM-IV TR. Resultados. La prevalencia de Depresión en SICA fue con DMI-10 de 42 (31.2%); IC 95%(23.4–38.9) y por el inventario de HADS de 12 (8.6%); IC (3.9–13.2) P < 0.005, y la ansiedad de 53 sujetos (38.12%); IC (30.1–46.1) P < 0.05.Además el inventario de DMI-10 y HADS tuvo una correlación con el estadístico tb de Kendall de 0.350 con valor de P < 0.005. Y grado de acuerdo por estadístico de Kappa ponderado para variables ordinales Kw=0.586 con valor de P=< 0.05. Conclusión. La depresión mayor parece ser similar a lo reportado en la literatura mundial. Palabras clave: Ansiedad; depresión mayor; cardiopatía isquémica.
